Let’s take the next step together

I’m Tania

I started Oriyah Counseling from a place of deep personal transformation. I know what it’s like to carry pain, shame, and grief—and I also know the freedom that comes from doing the work to heal.

“Oriyah” means divine light, and that’s what this practice represents to me: a place where you can reconnect with the light within you—the light that may have dimmed under the weight of trauma, stress, or loss, but is never gone.

At Oriyah Counseling, I’ve created a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported as you explore the path toward emotional and spiritual wholeness.

A little about me...

I’m a wife, a mom, and a woman who deeply values laughter, connection, and the simple things in life. I love to dance, sing (especially karaoke!), hike in nature, and unwind with a good comedy or mystery. These days, I prefer tea over coffee and treasure quiet moments just as much as the silly ones.

Spending time with friends and family is something I cherish. Whether it’s a cozy night in or a spontaneous outing, being with my loved ones fills me with joy and reminds me of what truly matters.

Nature is one of my favorite places to reflect, recharge, and feel grounded. It reminds me of how healing and present life can be.

Credentials & Training:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • EMDR-Trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Certified in Somatic Breathwork & Movement

  • Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples

  • Affiliated Clinician with Christian Counseling Services (CCS)

Why I’m affiliated with Christian Counseling Services (CCS):
Because healing takes a village. As a private practice therapist, it can sometimes feel isolating—but through CCS, I’m surrounded by a team of 30+ fellow therapists and a clinical leader with over 40 years of experience. This affiliation gives me access to ongoing training, mentorship, and a strong support network that allows me to show up fully for my clients.

You don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, or simply seeking more peace and presence in your life—I’m here, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

I’ve learned there’s no shame in asking for help—we all need it. And I gladly lean on my community of therapists to ensure that I’m equipped to help you face whatever challenges life may bring.
